Absynthe Parrot
Lo you aint drinkin this stuff are you?
For those of you who are unfamiliar with Absynthe it was a hallucinogenic drink that poets and artists a long time ago! It has since then become illegal.

Noodle is so adorable...she cracks me up. I am so happy that you found her at the shelter. I have to check your blog several times a day to get my Noodle fix :)

Hi Ray,
That's a possibility! I mean the title...not that I drink Absynthe! and Yes, I've heard of the stuff--sounds too scary for me even if it was legal.

Hi Leigh! Noodle "is" a crack up. I'm glad I got her at the shelter too. She hasn't lost her motorboat purr either and I just love that!

I cannot help but remark what I noticed when you first began this painting - and it was right about the time of his death so maybe your subconscious was giving some input - but the hat on this fooman reminds me of the pope's miter. (mitre? whatever - his HAT!)

so how about Hallucinogenic Papa? (nahhh)

Carnivale

I sorta like the Absynthe - so maybe
Absynthe Dreams??

Psychodelic Foo

Dream Girl

geesh - no help, huh?

Ya can still get Absynthe in France, but they did take the "bad stuff" out of it. Never tried it myself cause I am crazy enough as it is.......but, they do say that Van Gogh did like the stuff..........

Looks like Noodle has the right idea!! And by the way, how are the Peanut/Noodle relations shaping up? Keep cool Lo!!

Posted by: robin on July 31, 2005 07:43 AM

Hi Robin,
Peanut and Noodle are doing MUCH better. The hissing seems to be getting a little less. and before Nutty didn't want to come in the house (or she was nervous to) because the kitten was inside...but now she wants in all the time. I think she is curious if the little one is still around?

Noodle is definitely feeling at home. And her "body language" is surely communicating just how trusting she is of her new environment and new family! And speaking of absynthe - wasn't that in the movie "Moulin Rouge"?

Hi Everyone!
Thanks for the title suggestions! Not sure about absynthe being in the movie Moulin Rouge...I fell asleep while watching that movie. :(
