Hi everyone! Gawd it's been so hot here that my energy after work is totally gone. Yesterday it was 104...today more of the same...:( I haven't been blogging much or painting! In just sit in front of the fan and complain :(
Noodle and Peanut are getting along MUCH better. They have been sharing the house since this Saturday (yep, all the barricades are down). Last night was the first night that the little one was totally free to roam the house all night. (She slept on the bed) Peanut slept on top of the bedroom Armoire where she always sleeps and just kept watch. Everything went very smoothly. Very proud of my "Nut" for putting up with this new kitten.
I took this picture this morning. Noodle was trying to get close to Peanut by clawing the rug, then would drag her body closer and closer. I thought for sure Peanut was going to give her a big slap...but she didn't. ((yeah)) I gave Peanut a lot of (((Good Girl))) kudos.
Noodles getting big huh? She's finally getting some meat on her bones but she still has to grow into her long monkey tail! Speaking of Monkeys, I had this beanie baby monkey in my studio, and when Noodle was attacking my bare feet with her needle sharp baby teeth I yanked the monkey off my bookshelf and threw it down for her to attack...
Now she is in LOVE with the thing. She rabbit punches it to death, and carries it from room to room...it sways back and forth in her mouth as she walks ((her big kill))

Yes, much too hot - ugh! But the kitties are adorable and those monkey photos are just hysterical! Thanks for helping me forget the heat for a few moments! :-)
