Well, there was a EBSQ Live Presentation Art Chat last night on collage taught by Joanna Banana, so I didn't make that darn Wild Mushroom soup yet. Not that you all waiting THAT eagerly or anything....
I also had to stop and get some dried Porcini mushrooms (and some leeks) at the store. Guess how much the mushies were a pound? $43.99!!! Yes you heard me...:) Anyway, sounds worse than it was. I got a couple handfuls for about 5 dollars. I will be making the soup tonight so don't fill up on a bunch of crackers at 4:30 ok? ;)
I went to the nursery today during my lunch. I slept like crap last night and was kinda depressed and those of you who know me, know I like to escape from the world and enjoy greenery and flowers and stuff when I'm bummed. It helped! :)
There weren't very many flowering plants out yet ---not at this nursery anyway. But they did have some Pink Daphne (my very fave) and some type of climantis vine that smelled so good! I bought a couple African Violets.
It was a beautiful day out today, sunny in the 60's-- quite a change from yesterdays tornado's! Yes, we actually had a couple tornado's touch down about12 miles from our house. Tonight the sunset was really sherbert-ee!
UPDATE: I made the Wild Mushroom soup tonight, but will post step-by-step recipe pics of it tomorrow. I'm too tired to do it tonight. It's 9:50pm...and this kid must crash soon.
Looks good huh!? Ya...this isn't my picture, it's the one from the recipe book. I forgot to take a final one of mine -wah! :(

So that's what a pink Daphne looks like? Sweet. Regarding todays weather and sunset. Yes, both were gorgeous. I took a couple of sunset pics as well. If you wanna see the tornado go to my blog k?
