Foo Man Too- Print

I listed my first Girlie Girl print HERE. It's of the last watercolor I did "Foo Man Too." It measures 8" x 10"

Off to the grocery store for stuff to make soup for tonight. I'm either going to make a Wild Mushroom soup or a Lentil soup that I read about in an all SOUP cookbook I have.

See ya!

Others' thoughts...

Lo, "foo man too" has brilliant colors. Excellent print job. How many hours did it take to calibrate your monitor and printer? Looks fab!

I vote for the wild mushroom soup.
Will you be posting a recipe later?

Jenn, Calibrating? well, a couple hours I think? I don't think it took too long. My printer is pretty accurate. I did run a few tests of different color saturations...Sometimes setting it at "normal" looked really washed out from the original (depending on the painting) so once I found the right setting that matched the original as close as possible I just jotted it down to use later.

RE: Wild Mushroom Soup Recipe, will be fixed tomorrow vs. tonight. I forgot my list, so I forgot the leeks at the grocery store :(

No leeks? Man, you're killing Joe and me without a straight line to work with <g>...

This print looks magnificent. The brilliance of your colours really shines through.

I know next to nothing about calibrating, but would love to know what printer you use.

Hi all!

Eugenia, I use an Epson 960 Photo Printer.

I see you like Peter Max, eh? Me too. I also see you were born in early October? Me too. Libras both... by the way, you may know this, but Peter Max is also a Libra. Pretty obvious from his artwork.

Just wanted to stop by and say hello, I like your artwork and its intense color, and I wish people like you and Peter Max were still doing animated cartoon work for shows like Sesame Street and The Electric Company back in the late 60s and 70s. So much color and imagination were lost from the world the day show 1 changed, and show 2 was cancelled... sigh...

Keep up the great work. From one early October Lib to another, hats off :)
