Hi everyone! Is anyone still around? or are you all off on a wonderful spring 3-day weekend adventure? Happy Birthday Wooden Teeth Georgie Boy (lol!)
I have been listening to "Sting" all day long. I only have two CD's of his but they are just so great. My fave song of all time is "Fields of Gold." I guess you either love Sting or hate him.
I don't get a three day weekend :( ---oh well, I'll be getting a day off sometime in March to make up for it...my workplace does things a tad bit different. We have a "spring" party kinda. It's really a nice shindig---tons of food and presentations and stuff. Over 200 hundred people attend I think?
So, today...it poured rain outside starting at about noon. Still raining, but not too bad.
I did a little work on organizing stuff to get ready to sell on ebay---and pretty much just farted around in my studio (I don't actually fart...cuz' girls don't fart-they sqeak daintly? lol!! "farting around" is just a term I can't seem to break away from.)
Actually I painted a little and also got this little GAL up for auction.
BTW: Thank you Carrie!! for your purchase :)
K, back to doing art!!
Have a great evening.

P.S. I keep forgetting to mention this. Remember the neat store I blabbed about last summer that sells the Hawaiian Shirts (including vintage ones), Music and other cool collectibles? Well, they finally have a website up, and they asked for a link to my website. Nice huh? anyway...Go Check Out SWANBERG's For MEN!
Posted by Lori at February 19, 2005 07:45 PMWell, we get the three day, but we're also getting the rain.
Oh, man, my Visa sure wishes you hadn't posted that link!
Posted by: dan on February 19, 2005 09:54 PMPretty in yellow golden girlie Lolo! :D
I loooove Sting! He is one of the reasons my heart is broken for leaving California because the concert of his (Sacred Love) I saw last year was as excellent as I saw in the 80s. And I watch him on stage, it's like he loves everybody he works with and most of all he loves his craft! Truly a food for mah tired soul that man!
Oh lucky for me Scott's content with Wal-Mart Hawaiian shirts lol Awww Dan you deserve whatever it was you bought ;)
Posted by: erikie parikie on February 19, 2005 10:25 PMHi, Lori!
I can hang with sting and his music and especially love the 'fields of Gold'
I respect Sting for being a fine artist. I used to be a much bigger fan of his until I saw some of his interviews. I found him to be just a touch too full of him self. And to confirm my that suspicion...Sting tried to sue someone who had www.sting web domain. Can we say Megalomaniac!? Sting lost the case...can you believe it? (Good Judge!)
Anyways, I do forgive him and pray for him and still love his music. (what's goog is good...can't deny his art and musicianship)
I was with a guy for ten years that physically looked like Sting. YEAH BABY! Maybe I'll post a pic of him some day. Funny enough, I'm not into "THAT" kind'a look anymore.Been there....done that. (hehehe);0)
Cool linkage to Swanburgs.
