Melted Laptop

My laptop is fine...it was just a bad dream (see story below)

Boy, it's pouring outside!! It's been raining hard since last night. (well all week) It kept me up all night because we have old gutters and the water hits our bedroom screen door ((loudy)). Then I had some weird nightmares. Wanna hear the last one I had right before I got up?

DREAM:
I had just finished working on my computer for the evening, so I closed my laptop lid down... but I forgot that I had set a little candle on the edge of it inside. (I know that doesn't make any sense but in my dream it did) So when I came back to continue working on it, it was totally melted inside and even the keys were all melted...and it smelled so stinky (burning plastic).

I panicked and was trying to move it off my drawing table so it wouldn't melt my table top and of course it was **hot** and I burned my hands...then I jerked my hands away in pain and the attached Big Screen TV monitor I had hooked to my melting laptop...(remember it's a dream) fell to the ground and shattered! I started freaking out and crying about how I was going to explain to Kip what I had done---then I woke up. :P~

So anyway, I got up alot earlier than I normally do (5:20am) I made some coffee and went into my studio to check emails...got on my laptop and low and behold I had not turned it off at all last night....it was shutting down but stopped before it had gone thru all the shutdown menus. So it was on all night. There was no candle inside though :P

Hey! Did I show you Kip and Joe's artwork in my office? They look cool egh? There's a mini blind reflection in Kip's...:( What do you think Joe?

Speaking of artwork...mine is still up at the Coffee Works Gallery for another week :) Here's a couple pics of what the little place looks like on the outside. I LOVE the stripes!

Last night I listed a couple of my Mini's on Ebay (prints) framed in those gold frames I bougth a month ago. They are all $16.00 plus shipping at $3.95.

Here's the auction page if you wanna see.

I will be offering larger prints soon, I just wanna make sure the quality is up to my liking first :)

K, gotta get dressed for work.
Have a grreat Friday all!

Others' thoughts...

I bid on the lovey dovey print! I have never bought "anything" on ebay, but no time like the present to get started.

Thank You Deb!! It's easy buying on ebay (((too easy))) So, watch out you'll get addicted quickly :)

Great choices to auction - those lucky Ebayers are about to get a good deal from you as usual! Are those frames Aaron Bros.? I think all they have here is Hobby Lobby.

I guess your computer was calling you for help in your dreams Lo! Glad it was only a dream - large screen monitor and laptop aren't cheap!

It's been pouring down here all week too, Lo; and there's more scheduled in for Saturday.

Hey, those 'minis' are looking 'mighty' there...

Hi Erikie!!

Dan,
No rain here (Sat.) The neighbors (not us of course) are all out feverishly mowing their lawns before it starts to rain again.

Carrie,
Thank you for purchasing my GG #3 Mini print! I hope you like her. I will ship on Tuesday.
