With Your Help...Decision made

WOW! Thank you for all your responses to my frame choice query. :)
Here's the last Mini I finished today...it's 2" x 2-3/4" watercolor of course.

After the tally which was 7 to 6 in favor of the thin black simple frames (Kip was the 7th vote on the simple frames) they are ready to take to the gallery. I tried to take them today, but they were closed :( I'll try again tommorow. I hope its not too late.

I still like the ornate frames though-It just has to be maybe REALLY teanie tiny images in them? Kip said to put little postage stamp minis in the ornate ones. Postage stamp? Geez, these are small enough!!

well, anyway, I'd better like the little ornate frames, because I bought a bunch of diff. ones over the weekend. I WILL be using them at some point ---mainly because I can't find my receipt to take them back :(

Well, I'm cleaning up my studio a little tonight as well as surfing the net --getting caught up with all my fellow bloggers. Have a great night all, and again thanks for your votes!

Lo**

Hi Lori,
When I saw the measurments of the paintings, I digged up my centimeter, that has also yards on the other side.
I could not beleave my eyes is it true that this paintings are only 6 and a half centimeter "big"??
Good luck on the exhibition.

Hi there Lo :) Geez.....I guessed I missed the frame debates :( K....I know it's to late now, but heres what I'm thinking. K....frameless frames....two pieces of plexi....yes...."art in the raw".

Did I sound sophisticated when I said that? Actually, I think your pieces look great in the thin black frames....I justed wanted to say something different and sound all artsy fartsy.

Hey? Isn't the webcast from the Chamber this weekend? Party at Lolos? To watch the webcast? I promise I won't spill the spinach dip on the carpet this time.

I'll be quiet now ;)

(your tinies look awesome)
