Mini Van Go-Jennifers Art

Hey! Look at us--Mutt and Jif!

Ok...Jennifer is tall, but not THAT tall---I took my shoes off to make the picture a little bit more shocking. Did it work? Yes? Oh good! :P

So, Jennifer and I met last night at the Second Saturday Art walk here in Sacramento. She had her art displayed in the Izzy Mini Van-Go Gallery!

When I first drove up, I spotted her getting in her car to go park someplace so I wave at her...she waves back, but I could tell she had no clue who I was. So, I decided to stock her a little before introducing myself... I'm so bad.

Here's me approaching from down the street...::::snap!::: Then here's an incognito shot I took while inside a clothes shop shooting through the window. :::::snap!::::: I finally introduced myself...we chit chat, but she knew alot about me already (from my blog) ---I forget about that sometimes.

She introduced me to her friends, and then I proceeded to snap more pictures. This time of Jenn standing next to the van with her artwork displayed inside I bought this one and this box of "Day of the Dead" wooden matches Here's the other side.

Then she made these cool sugar skulls and gingerbread cookies too.

Oh! and one last thing...
She remebered to bring the Peter Max puzzle that she found at a Thrift store for me. Thank You Jennifer!

It was great meeting you. I hope you sold a ton last night...and look your piece is already hanging on my wall! right next to Joe, Cathy and Debra's art :)

Happy Sunday all!

Others' thoughts...

Wow, what a tribute!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lolo for making such a production (blog space) of my show last evening. It was such a pleasure to meet you and Kip. You shine!

I knew you would stock me!

I think I kinda remember waving to you now that you mention it, but I was to busy trying to catch up; as I was late to my own art reception! :0) I forgot to load some of my artwork and had to go back home and retrieve.;0( (oops!)

I had a great time last evening. I sold well, had fun, and made people smile. I am inspired to do more art. Plus... I got to meet Y.O.U.!

Thanks for documenting my show and for supporting the local arts; especially mine.;0)

I'm grateful for all of your support.

Enjoy!

-Jennifer

P.S. Go to Joe's blog to see more of what I have to say about you. ;0)

Hi Lo! Hi LilJif! Did I say little? ;) jk. Lo...you are quite the incognito photographer. Jen your art looks great! Love that matchbook that Lo bought. Geez..that van is so cool! It looks like the color of my studio walls! Hmmm....I'm thinking Buick Riveria of art now...hmmmm......

Wahh!!! Wish I lived closer I would have popped over and said hello.

Congrats Jenn!,

Wishing you a wicked Sunday Lo.

Thanks for your comments Joe.

I can picture your Buick Riviera displayed full of art work in the future. Why not! You could even hitch something to the back like a mini-trailer or camper. (Just think?!)

Izzy's been doing his Mini-van-go gallery on wheels for more than six years. It's great fun, and people love it. I enjoyed the public's reaction to such a creative contraption.

Gosh that was so cool to see Jen's show and all the pics and stuff, thanks Lolo! I am so jealous, I never get to meet my online friends in person, boo. Oh well, it's great fun getting to know people thru the blogs and journals.
Lori that's the first time you've been in a picture where we could see your whole face bigger than an avatar, I LOVE to see what you all look like!
What a fun idea to do the show in the van!

Hi Sheila, Well, it's kinda spooky meeting blog/journal friends (((in real life))) Jen was my first, and I must say, it was a treat!

OMG now I'm all self conscious about the picture of my WHOLE face larger than an avatar--why'd you bring THAT up! (jk)

An art gallery in a van? What a great idea!

I agree with Sheila, it's nice to see more of Lori than just her eyeball!
