This is Peanut. You've all seen me post pics of her before. (refer to Monday) The other night...
she brought me a sock.
She used to do this alot...but I think it had been at least 3 months since she did it last. I guess she just wants attention? Is that it? Is she showing me her kill?
This last sock...that big grey pair, she actually had to get off our bed way back at the other end of the house and even push open my studio door open to bring it to me. Gawd...I sound like such a proud parent huh? Maybe I should print up a Bumper Sticker that says "Does Your Cat Bring You a Sock? Mine Does." :)
I am finally getting caught up with projects at home AND at work which is such a great feeling especially because it's FRIDAY!!!
I missed the antique paper show last Sat. and Sunday! I am so mad. I just found the postcard for it on my bulletin board last night...the next one isn't until January! :(

I'm craving clam chowder...with a big hunk of soft chewy sourdough bread...anyone have some I could eat? I would make some tonight, but it's suppose to be 100 degrees out today, so not actually soup weather yet. I want the fall to come NOW! (sorry)
The State Fair Started a few days ago. K and I didn't enter any art this time :( I would like to go by and see the art show but K doesn't. (not sure why) So I might have to trek out there one evening before it closes to check it out. Plus I have to buy something to eat on a stick. :) Geez look at THIS!!!

Hey Lo!! Wooo! Look at nutty cat! Geez...that feline still scares me...has she ever brought a sock in with someones foot still in it? Especially after seeing her pic the other day.

Our dog Merlin brings us socks for attention too. Although he's a herding dog so it's probably to get the reward for the 'gathering' and not the 'kill' - LOL! Love the fish too, excellent red!

Mind you, I rarely get out for lunch, but had an errand and stopped in at a place on Alhambra. Lord....I've forgotten the name already and just got back! Red something or other....(Window, or Door??) in the little plaza south of Safeway, kind of across from Del Taco. Anyhow, they make crepes, and they're pretty good. Quick. I had mushroom/swiss cheese/spinach.
PS: Our Earthquake Zin took Best in California at the State Fair, so if you visit the wine garden, be sure to try some. I'm pouring wine at a couple of events coming up. If you happen to be at any, stop by and I promise I'll give you a respectable-sized pour! (Michael-David Vineyards) I'll be at Christian Brothers 9/10, and Roseville Aquatic Center's Splash on 9/11. 9/18 is Grape Escape (Crocker)

My most favorite clam chowder is from Claim Jumper, they serve it in that big sourdough bowl which is also yummmmmmy!
Bernard looks like a LRH painting :) Is that mirror on your monitor to keep him company or is it to see if Kip is sneaking up on you when you're at the computer :)
