While at the Borders Books the other day...I got a couple cd’s, one being Eva Cassidy’s “Imagine.” and the other was a 2 cd set of a series of different artists...kinda more meditative type music from the Hearts of Space Series. Anyway, I have another one of Eva’s CD’s (“Songbird” REALLY good!!) But on this “Imagine” one it has that old song “Fever” and it just gives me goosebumps everytime she sings it (especially in a few parts...) Her voice is just absolutely amazing. It’s such a shame she died really young (only 33)
I found a site that lets you listen to some of her songs...and "Fever” is there, but of course it only lets you listen to a few seconds of the song, then it fades off...
BTW: I have to thank Mr. Kephart for pointing out Eva's music to me--- Thank you Joe! And welcome back from your vacation...looks like you had fun.
Over at Mandarin Design I saw this cool little thing. It's called typogenerator lets you enter text and then creates random effects for your text and images. Once you create your image just right-click to save it. Try it!!
LilJif (Jennifer Jacobsen) invited Kip and I to go to her art show this Saturday! She will have some of her art in Izzy's Mini VAN-GO Gallery. :)

So Jenn, someday we'll meet up. Just like Erikie and I will meet someday and the DanMan and I will have to meet too... and Kitty and Joe, Ray, Sheila, Edee, Jenny, Lea, Barbara, Bran, Lililoo, Carrie, Leanne, Teresa, and my two Annies!...I know I'm forgetting someone. :(
I totally forgot that it was the Second Saturday Art Walk weekend! I also will be missing the Buddhist Bazaar! (Well, it will be still happening on Sunday too) but I love going to that on Saturday night. I am so mad I got my dates messed up because that would have been such an excellent evening out...Art and food and music and tons of people and colors and cold beer and teriyaki smells and art again...and more food...saki...and geez.... I'm all bummed now.
I've gotta get back to work.

Hey Lo!!! Ty, its nice to be back, driving is a whole other ball game in San Fran, then it is here. You bought the Eva CD? Woo! You do like it. Yes she had a wicked voice. That typogenerator is pretty cool...but it does take a bit to work. I typed in the phrase..."how are you?" and I got picture of a naked man! ahhhh!!!!!
I was invited also by Liljif...ty Jen! But I can't come either...sorry J. If it was a week ago...there would have been a great chance I could have come!!! But alas...I will never be allowed in another motel 6 again.
