May I introduce to you...my new kitchen helper...drumroll.... Mrs. Spanky New White 6 qt. Crokpot! lol!! Sorry...I know this is kind of a lame blog entry picture to start out your Monday. :) but, it was either this, or a close up view of a rose hip that has spider webs on it :) aren't you happy now?

Oops, I have to go now. I just rubbed my eyes after putting on peppermint and citrus lotion on my hands augh!!! I can't see!!
Happy New Crockpot Monday :)
Lo**
I have the exact same model. I usually use it to cook Tex Mex pintos or a good size crock of carne guisada. Works great!!!
Posted by: Deb on August 9, 2004 11:26 AMAww cute!
Posted by: erikie on August 9, 2004 03:05 PMVery very very nice!
Posted by: liljiffy on August 9, 2004 03:55 PMHi Lolo: Your painted box purse is so much fun! I especially like all the "jewely trinkets" (pirate talk) that are glued on it. Did you paint & decorate it or did someone else?
If any other of Lolo's blogging buddies would like a roll of the Girly tape, just e-mail me and we can make arrangements. I went back to the store today and well... I sorta bought all they had (3 rolls) figuring that I'd offer it to you guys in case anyone else wanted some and if not... I'd just hog it all and be perfectly happy that way too :) ;) Just a fun trinket to brighten up your scotch taping.
Have a nice night everyone - looks like we've got tornado watches ONCE AGAIN tonight in Michigan,

Posted by: annie from Mich on August 9, 2004 05:41 PMAnnie!!! well..hear that everyone? Isn't she a sweetheart!
Actually Annie, used a couple pieces of the Girlie tape today, to tape on a card on the back of my Frenchie Dude watercolor that I just shipped out to Michele in New York! (Thank you again Michele!!!) It looked so "Cutie Pie" so thank you again.
Pray that Frenchie travels safe cross the US ok?
Take care Annie on the Tornado watch stuff. Geez!! I could never live where there are tornados. I have a fear of being in the bathtub or something when one would hit. :P
Posted by: Lo on August 9, 2004 07:02 PMThat's the prettiest crock pot I have ever seen. I have an old avocado green crock pot from my aunt--it's kind of scary, but it works! :-)
Posted by: teresa on August 10, 2004 07:39 AMYo Lo and Dan: It's funny, isn't it? The idea of whatever particular scarey weather we don't have, like tornados or vice versa earthquakes, scares us more than what we're used to. We've gotten so used to tornado warnings that usually I'm standing on the front porch with my camera trying to get picture of one. (My husband had a fit the last time I did that.) But the idea of an earthquake, feeling the ground shake and watching things break around you, sounds really ~S~C~A~R~E~Y~ to me. :l
I'm going to miss Frenchie Dude :( I really got to like him.
Happy skies, ;)
