Posted by: Lo on April 9, 2004 05:47 PMThose roses do look and smell lovely. But did I spy an espresso machine behind the flowers.
Posted by: Valerie on April 9, 2004 06:08 PMThose roses are spectacular, Oh I love 'em! Do you use that florist stuff that makes them last longer after they are cut? Mine are just leafing out here in colder country.
Posted by: sheila on April 9, 2004 06:21 PMLOL@ myself. I even went back up to the photo JUST to see the espreso machine. *G*. those are beautifull thank you for sharing. ;)
Posted by: Ladybug on April 9, 2004 06:21 PMOMG Do I spy the name Valerie!!!? I can't believe you are posting a comment young lady? lol!
Yes, that's OUR espresso machine...nothing like YOUR fancy one that you brought on the trip but it does just fine. :)
Sheila, I throw in some sugar...sometimes honey to make them last longer. I cut them in the morning early and (as they suggest) plunge them in very hot water to seal the freshly cut stems. They last quite awhile that way.
Posted by: Lo on April 9, 2004 06:26 PMthe zep dee droo-is a thornless rose-a bit prone to blackspot but the same colour as the deep pink on this pageand the most heavenly smell...
