Kip and I went out to a big birthday dinner party last night. There were 12 of us. It took awhile to get our meals, but when it came-- excellent. I had Herb Encrusted Sea Bass. It looked like they had molded it in a little cup first, baked it, then it was unmolded on top of a little blob of mashed poatoes (I asked for the potatoes instead of the celery root puree), and garnished with some very thin threads of fried leeks. It looked like a little white castle tower with tree twigs on top :) I was impressed!
I think everyone had a nice time, even though it was hard to talk with everyone (because of the very long table). I know the BD Boy had a nice time, so that was the important thing. We gave him a bottle of this... yikes!!---good luck with it Mr. R-meister! lol!
Don't forget, I'm making Chicken Marsala tonight! (Pics and instructions as usual.) I better get out my molds and twigs...
Ok, will talk more later. Happy lazy Sunday all.

Posted by: Lori on February 22, 2004 03:29 PMMade my wife the worlds easiest shrimp dish
put 2lbs of shell on legs and head removed shrimp in oven proof dish add 2 sticks butter and a bottle of wishbone italian dressing (reg size) some lemon juice and a little extra garlic, bake at 350 till done (pink). Served with crusty italian bread for dipping in juice. Peel and eat. She loved it. I wore gloves (allergic)
