What a long day at work. Major changes going on here. I have a new boss and we meet this coming Monday for a 45 min. introductory chat! (((Nervous))) Half of my day was cleaning up my office! Way too much cleaning happening right now.
What's with all my dreams!!!
I had a nightmare last night. I actually had to get up and walk around a bit afterwards to try and shake it off.
I was walking along this wet sandy trail with a few people. The trail started towards a tunnel. It was a very wide tunnel, but the farther I walked in, the roof got lower and lower until finally I had to get on my belly and try to slither through a tiny little opening. Everyone else next to me were getting through just fine, but "yours truly" was stuck---like a big cow. I could see a lot of people already had made it through but I started to get a panic attack. I yelled out that I needed to back up! but people started pushing the bottom of my feet to try and get me through...I was getting sand in my mouth yelling louder, and I could smell the wet sand and saw ants crawling around. Then I woke up.
Not a care, not a worry with my fabulous life right?
On to some art talk now...
I printed out some VERY good looking prints of a couple of my Roses to list on ebay tonight. (I hope tonight) One rose you guys haven't ever seen. It's not even on my website. It's a single Sterling Silver Rose just starting to open...very purty.... and the other one is of "French Vanilla" the one that is number 18 in my "showcase of art cards"
I received a nice gift from Erika (erikie parikie) it was a 11" x 14" giclee of one of her paintings called Cirque 3. She used one of my photos I took at the Buddist Bazzar, as reference for the background design. Anyway, it really turned out great on that canvas surface! Amazing what you can do now. Erika posted this Thanksgiving picture yesterday that totally cracked me up. Isn't it great?
Later!
Lori
Ewwww... Maybe the cold snap triggered off that nightmare...
Hey, I'm looking forward to that Sterling Silver; I used to have one at the other house.

Posted by: Joe on November 21, 2003 06:55 PMThat dream sucks Lori! Were you wearing fatigues by chance? :P
Posted by: Leanne on November 21, 2003 08:59 PMWow Lori...your dream/nightmare sounds very surreal and Salvadooooor Dali-ish. Dali incorporated a lot of ants in his work. I see a painting of your dream in my mind's eye. It is full of symbolism. You must check out A.M. radio KSTE on Saturday evening, and listen to a local broad cast of the "Dream Weaver" Stephanie Doran She is wonderful.
