Finally ready to present my cards to you all!

What an ordeal. It took over 2 hours to publish my site with all the changes and "Card Order Page." Then I didn't get all my links, so at 2:30AM I republished again, and again and again...I'm sure I'll see something else. But for now I'm DONE.
I don't know for sure how the PayPal form will look, I hope it'll all make sense. I can't test it because I can't send money to myself. I guess if anyone orders cards and it's all haywire... I'll hear from them?
______________
Speaking about hearing back, I finally heard from my collector in Chicago that bought my three drawings. I was getting nervous that she didn't like them and that was the reason in the delay in hearing if they arrived ok. All is well, she loved them and is having all three professionally framed which is always nice to hear.
Look at Teresa Nolen Pratt's new hats! Hey that rhymes. I would love to buy the one called "Silky Swirls" because I actually think it might look good on me? lol...or the "Sunny Bunny" one, because I love the colors with the white fur sticking out of it. NeatO Teresa!
But alas, I have a rather "large" head, so even though they look so cute in her pictures, by the time she alters one of them for my noggin' it'll prolly ruin it. I hope not.
Going to another Sac. Kings BB game this afternoon. We play the Golden State Warriors. I need a break from the computer so it'll be fun to get away.
Ok, let me know what you guys think of the cards? and any boo boo's too...
Thanks,
Lori
OK...I placed my order. So we'll see if this works. The worst part about it was making my selection of cards!
Oh, I'm so excited and can't wait to get them!
Great job on the ordering page, Lori.
Posted by: Ann on November 16, 2003 01:53 PMWhoo Hoo! Thank you Ann! Your my first official person (next to my Mom) that ordered a set!
I made my Mom order some so she could tell me if the PayPal form was working properly...lol!
Anyway, Thank you for your order Ann! They'll go out tomorrow and I'll now finally get a chance to think about your portrait commission.

Posted by: Lori on November 16, 2003 02:14 PMI have to tell you I've had your showcase up on my monitor all day because I couldn't make up my mind lol! I can't wait! I may frame som of those =) Handsome showcase, handsome packaging --good luck with those!
I loved Teresa's hats too but I have a big head as well! I wear a Large man's hat :( I'm sure my thick hair doesn't help. I liked your choices plus I like the Volcano and Pepperoni and and and... I like a lot--all sold too!
Posted by: erikie parikie on November 16, 2003 03:09 PMAck I looked again, some time I will just have to get a set of girlie girls lol!
Posted by: erikie parikie on November 16, 2003 03:11 PMOh, I am going to have to check again and decide. I keep floundering on what my selection is going to be. They are so awesome! Great job getting them together, too. Excellent-o!
Posted by: teresa on November 16, 2003 03:28 PMWOW...you go Lori! Your card packages look FABULOUS! I love your work. The fact that you give the buyer the option to personally select which hand-titled and hand-signed cards they would like to have included in their special bow-tied gift box is super nice, and very personalized. I'm sorry you had such crap-o-daisicle day on the 16th putting up your new web stuff, but let me tell you, that the pain you had to endure is well worth it...your site looks fantastic, and your new paypal card purchasing page is soooo easy to understand.
I am such a fan of yours, you inspire me greatly.
Good luck to you! I will be buying a pack of cards from you in the near future. Take care O U >^..^<, Jennifer(A.K.A. liljiffy)

You mentioned that you print them yourself. What kind of printer do you use? It looks wonderful. So many to choose from!
Donna, Thanks! I used an Epson Stylus Photo Printer.
